$713,000 – Child with Broken Fingers

This verdict was for a child who had broken fingers.  The defense offered only $125,000 before the trial.  Three weeks before the appealed decision came down, the defense offered only $190,000.  The end result was $713,000. This is the highest amount ever upheld by the Appellate Court in New York state for this type of injury.
