$682,500 – Pedestrian Hit By Commercial Truck

We recovered $682,500 for a man who was hit by a truck while crossing the street in the middle of the day in Manhattan, New York. Many people were going in the same direction as he. They all stopped because the light for pedestrians changed to red to give cars the right of way. The man crossed anyway, and collided with a FedEx truck which killed him. The driver of the truck said that the man walked into his vehicle by the rear wheel and that the deceased person was fully at fault. We had no client to testify and we had to make out a case out of the mouth of the driver and witnesses who were at the scene. Through our efforts, we were still able to recover $682,500.
