$3,222,000 – Subway Accident Case

Posted in and tagged by Kenneth A. Wilhelm, Esq.

A man suffered a seizure which caused him to jump in front of an oncoming subway train. He had to have his legs amputated below the knees.  We recovered the verdict of $3,222,000 in spite of the being advised by a well respected judge in the case to settle the case for $90,000.

Our firm worked with another firm to reach this verdict. The verdict was so huge that it was reduced to about $1,400,000 on appeal.
