$417,500 – Broken Ankle from Fall on Sidewalk

A man suffered a broken ankle requiring surgery when the sidewalk pavement he was walking on crumbled beneath one of his feet causing him to fall.  One of the difficult factors of this case was that the man had previously committed and was convicted of multiple armed robberies. He had already served over 8 years in prison for these crimes many years ago, but the defense attorneys tried to use this to affect our client’s credibility. This case depended very much on our client being believed as there were no witnesses to his accident – there was no one around when the accident happened. However, we successfully recovered this amount for our client.
