$1,162,500 – Lead Poisoning Case

This settlement was for a child who suffered lead poisoning from paint in her apartment.  The child’s injuries were subtle and difficult to recognize.  We recovered $1,162,500, $162,500 above the $1 million dollar total policy payout.  The judge pushed hard for the case to be settled for $950,00 but we fought for more and recovered $162,500 more than the full policy which is very unusual.
