Truck AccidentMayor Bloomberg has thrown his support behind a new law requiring trucks to utilize mirrors that would reduce their blind spots. According to a report in the New York Daily News, the bill would mandate all truck owners to install crossover mirrors that would allow drivers to see children or pedestrians who are near the truck. The bill was introduced after the death of a 4-year-old boy in Brooklyn who was hit by a large truck while riding his tricycle.
