The American Society of Legal Advocates (ASLA) has selected New York personal injury lawyer Kenneth A. Wilhelm as one of the Top 100 Litigation lawyers in the State of New York for 2014. An Involved Selection Process
Member lawyers carry out ASLA’s entire selection process manually. The group’s lawyers perform a comprehensive assessment of each candidate including a review of the firm web sites, client assessments and publicly available filings that may include verdicts, settlements and information regarding transactions. Each candidate is assessed based on criteria such as educational accomplishments, involvement and leadership in bar associations and professional accomplishments, activities within their community and demonstrated legal achievement.
According to ASLA’s web site, like “the student body of an elite university,” the organization strives to invite a range of members with stellar credentials as well as a wide range of interests and activities. After an initial list of nominees is prepared, all the compiled data is reviewed and the nominations confirmed. The list of finalists is reviewed again and the candidates are confirmed for invitation or placed on a holding list for reconsideration the following year.
