Bronx Police Officer Charged with Causing Fatal DUI Crash

DuiA 22-year-old man was killed in a New York car accident, which the authorities report, involved a police officer who was under the influence of alcohol. According to NBC New York, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred at the intersection of 241 Street and White Plains Road in the Bronx. The victim of this DUI crash was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital shortly after the incident. The 25-year-old officer remained at the scene of the collision and was determined to be intoxicated. He now faces vehicular manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, and driving while intoxicated charges.
