$1,700,000 – Slip-and-Fall results in Herniated Disc

Posted in and tagged by Kenneth A. Wilhelm, Esq.

We represented a woman who slipped, fell, herniated a disc in her back, and tore cartilage in her knee from slipping on a wet floor immediately after exiting an elevator. The floor was freshly mopped and had not dried, which created a slippery and unsafe surface. The woman had no medical or hospital treatment for 1 month after the accident. A settlement of $1.7 million was reached before jury selection was completed.
