Rear-End Accidents
Rear-end accidents can be devastating especially for motorcyclists, who could get ejected from their cycle and thrown into the path of other vehicles. In any rear-end crash, it is important to examine a number of factors. Was the driver of the striking vehicle under the influence, distracted, speeding or inattentive? When drivers travel at an excessive rate of speed without regard for the traffic conditions, they may be unable to stop in time to avoid a collision. Additionally, when drivers are distracted by talking on a cell phone, they may fail to notice vehicles stopped ahead. All these are forms of negligence for which the at-fault driver can be held liable.
Compensation for Victims and Families
In cases where negligence is involved, the family of a deceased accident victim can file a wrongful death claim seeking compensation for damages including, but not limited to, lost future income and benefits, medical expenses, funeral costs, pain and suffering, etc. If you or a loved one has been injured or if you have lost a loved one in an auto accident, the experienced New York personal injury attorneys at the Law Offices of Kenneth A.
