$6,750,000 – Failure to Diagnose Tumor in the Brain

Posted in and tagged by Ken Wilhelm

$6,750,000 was recovered for our client Gustavo against various hospitals and doctors that failed to properly diagnose him and treat him in a timely manner. Our client had an intracranial mass (brain tumor) and intracranial abscess that the hospitals failed to diagnose. The medical facilities failed to perform a physical examination, perform a neurological examination, and properly assess numerous physical signs that were apparent on our client. This resulted in the client with decreased ability to walk, a speech abnormality, and hemiparesis (decreased function of the right arm and the right leg).
Our firm worked with another firm to reach this settlement.
