$2,100,000 – Car Accident Case

This case was settled during trial for $2,100,000 for an 80-year-old woman who was a passenger in a motor vehicle accident.  The judge assigned to this case stated that the case would not be upheld by the appellate courts for more than $1,000,000 and, still, this result was well above the average settlement for this type of case. The result was more than twice what the judge said the case was worth.
